Artist Residency

The Romã residency offers visiting artists something rare: unhurried time, their own space, and materials to work. Away from routine, a change of scenery unlocks the work and lets a new environment shape what comes next.

Artists are invited to slow down and spend real time with reclaimed materials, listening for what they want to become.

The setting brings nature, craft, and architecture together, so the surroundings become part of the practice. Whether starting something new or returning to work left waiting, the residency offers room to reconnect with why they make.

A private room or studio space, plus open access to Romã's workshop. Tools, reclaimed materials, and the mosaic and glass studio. Some stays include a guided session with a resident artist.
Residencies welcome artists at any level, from complete beginners curious about mosaic to working artists looking for a change of scenery. The space is yours to use at your own pace.
