The studio philosophy

A dialogue between structure and spontaneity

At Romã Studio, every craft feeds into the next. It is not a collection of separate workshops but a continuous creative cycle, where a painted tile becomes a mosaic fragment, and a salvaged material finds its place in a layered composition.

Where it begins

Our practice is rooted in an architectural way of seeing: precise, structural, attentive to how things fit together. From the organic geometry of Modern Mosaic and Glass Art, inspired by Gaudí, to the traditional craft of Azulejo tile painting where we manufacture our own raw materials, each discipline builds on the one before it.

Where it leads

Visual Arts and Mixed Media brings it all together, inviting a more expressive and experimental approach. Here, reclaimed and discarded elements are transformed into cohesive, meaningful work. Fragments become stories. Broken things become the foundation of something whole.

We do not just teach techniques. We invite you into a lifestyle of discovery.
